Social distancing from everyone sucks...
and yet there is a display of teamwork,
a sense of unity instilled in all of us.
We aren’t meeting our friends
for dinner and drinks...
but thankfully their virtual support
is getting us through this!
I know we have forgotten
what it is to shop at the mall...
but aren’t we using this time
to get to old hobbies y’all?
Our favorite restaurants are shut
and cooking is not always fun...
but wait for it guys,
we’ll soon be dining under the sun.
I complain about juggling
between a toddler, home and office work...
but aren’t people dealing with problems
larger than this all?
Never imagined 2020 would mean
travel bans and staying at home...
but it’s a PANDEMIC and right now,
I’m finding peace through long walks!
