I gave birth to my precious little one!
Yay it’s a girl, my heart smiled
I get to be a girl mom, yet another time.
I grew up with siblings,
two brothers indeed.
Watching two sisters bond,
Oh, what a treat it’s gonna be!
First time mom versus second time around,
It’s a whole different ball game,
Let me tell you how..
It does get a lot easier,
You stress a little less
but trust me when I say,
There are new challenges to address
I had to be up and running,
for my older one’s sake
3 days postpartum,
was the maximum rest I could take
I have fitness goals,
Few travel plans to make,
A career to persue
Two kids to raise!
You know what has helped?
A reminder to myself:
“ A woman can/ should have it all “
And I’d like my daughters to grow up,
With the same belief after all!
